Context
Model builder Willis Snow’s family owned one of the best known of Rockland’s shipyards. Throughout his life, Snow constructed models of the ships that had been built in and around Rockland. This model is his personal interpretation of the extreme clipper’s appearance, incorporating, for example, deck furniture more appropriate for a later vessel.
