Context
Described as an “aerial muse” for her poetic birds-eye views of the landscape based on richly colored pastel sketches made from a chartered small plane, commercial jet, or the upper floors of a skyscraper, this one shows Rockport harbor, full of fishing and pleasure boats, not far from her summer home in Searsmont.
